With only two weeks until Halo 5: Guardian's launch, 343 Industries still have a few surprises up their sleeve.

This morning, 343 Industries also announced that Halo 5: Guardians will support a public API service for developers. This will be in addition to the stats available to gamers on Halo Waypoint and the Halo Channel. This will allow anyone to take game statistics and information and create their own websites, apps, or what-have-you. With a little know how you could be setting up and tracking the statistics of you own tournaments with friends.
The Halo API program is currently in private beta but 343 Industries is expecting to release the feature in a similar time frame to that of Halo 5. The API program will allow users to access a service record of life-to-date player stats, match history, and a carnage report that provides stats for everyone in a match.
Halo 5: Guardians is set to release exclusively for Xbox One on October 27.
