Following the leak on the PlayStation store earlier this week, it looks like the next Call of Duty title will indeed be Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, as today Activision has provided a short visual tease of the game in the form of the video above, dubbed Know Your Enemy. Check it out and see for yourself.
The video takes the form of a transmission of sorts, featuring a bald-headed soldier (who looks like he could be Accept's guitarist Wolf Hoffmann's Dopplegänger) reciting this message:
"Make no mistake... we will rip you from the history books. Every last trace of you... gone. You will know loss. We will be the architects of your pain. We will build monuments to your destruction. The whole world will bear witness to this: our ascension. We will blot out the skies. We will bury you in darkness. Know this, and know us. We are your enemy. We are the Settlement Defense Front."
The Settlement Defense Front? Charlie Intel made the discovery that the man in the video -- who is thoughy to be the Settlement Defense Front's leader -- appeared in Call of Duty: Black Ops III's Nuk3town map today. Even in the video above, there is a reference to Nuk3town. For a split second at roughly 7 seconds into the video, you will see "Nuk3town Offline" flash on the screen.
Furthermore, Activision have filed trademark applications for "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" and "Infinite Warfare" via the United States Patent and Trademark Office. This clearly suggests that Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare could be the title, though Activision have yet to confirm this. That announcement could come at any time.
Stay tuned to Metaleater for more as it arises.
