The next DLC pack for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, Ascendance, will be released on PS4 and PC on April 30. This is the exact same pack (released on March 31 of this year) on Xbox One and features four new multiplayer maps, a new hybrid weapon, exo grapple mode and part two of the zombie campaign.
The four new maps each have an interesting quirk to consider, adding an extra element to the gameplay.
Perplex, set in a futuristic apartment building, has several cranes moving the modular buildings around. New paths are always opening to keep players on their toes.
Site 244 features a UFO crashed into Mt. Rushmore and players can utilize the aliens inside to give their perks a boost.
Climate is a futuristic bio-dome full of exotic flora and fauna surrounded by several waterways, but take care because the water can turn toxic at any time.
Finally Chop Shop has players battling through an exoskeleton factory featuring a powerful EMP turret to help control key areas of the map.
The zombie campaign continues and the celebrity cast of characters, including John Malkovich, are back to face the undead hordes. Joining them are some new, even more deadly zombies and fearsome traps to help keep them at bay.
Rounding out the package is the OHM Werewolf, a combination of a shotgun and machine gun all in one. It's a weapon for all situations.
Ascendance is available separately or as part of the Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare season pass.
