Were the Scorpions really done?

Back in late 2011, Metaleater publisher Tony Antunovich spoke with Scorpions guitarist and founder Rudolf Schenker when the band had decided to call it quits. During the chat -- originally published on December 21, 2011 -- Schenker spoke about the band's long career, their 2011 album Comeblack, their time in Vancouver, BC recording 1993's Face the Heat, and other topics.

Scorpions will release their new album, Return to Forever, in North America on September 11 via Sony Music. A day before its release, the band will commence the North American portion of their 50th Anniversary tour. Queensrÿche will be supporting. Here are the dates:
